See exactly why your resume
would — or wouldn't — match this job.

Paste a job and your resume. Climbr's match checker scores the real fit and shows which resume lines are costing you points, and why — not just a number.

Paste a job (its link or the description) and your résumé, and Climbr’s free Job Match Score rates the fit from 0 to 100 with a one-sentence reason: 75 and up is a Strong fit, 50–74 is Worth a look, and below 50 is a Stretch. Under the score it lists up to five résumé lines likely costing you points, each quoted word for word beside the posting’s own words. No account needed: 2 scores a day, or 10 with a free account. The check itself stores nothing.

Questions

Which job search tools show a match score for each job?

Climbr does, and some other AI job-search tools offer a version of it (see the dated comparison table at climbrhq.com/compare). Climbr’s score runs 0–100 against your own résumé and comes with a one-sentence reason. The free checker at climbrhq.com/job-score needs no account: 2 scores a day, or 10 with a free account. In an account’s job feed, Basic scores the 15 jobs it shows you, Pro 30, Elite your whole feed; Free accounts get one real match score — the rest stay locked until you upgrade.

Is the Job Match Score free, and does it store my résumé?

Yes, it’s free with no signup: 2 scores a day, or 10 with a free account, plus a daily ceiling across all visitors that can pause the tool until tomorrow. The check itself stores nothing; if you sign up from this page your résumé is carried into your new account. Each run also logs a daily counter (by IP address or account), the AI calls and an analytics event, none containing your résumé text. A pasted job link’s website domain goes into our server logs.

Is this the same score I’d get inside a Climbr account?

It uses the same 0–100 scale and the same labels: Strong fit (75 and up), Worth a look (50–74) and Stretch (below 50). The number can still differ for the same job. Scores in your account’s job feed also weigh details saved on your profile, such as skills or a security clearance, and use the job text Climbr has on file, while this tool reads only the résumé and posting you give it.
